Cado HerMade: Crafted by Women, Led by Passion

Cado HerMade is a celebration of women who create with passion and purpose. At Cado, we believe in supporting women artisans by giving their talent a platform and honoring the care, creativity, and love behind every handmade piece. Each creation tells a story of dedication, individuality, and the joy of doing what they love most.

MADONNA BOTROS

" I have been drawn to colors, textures, and imagination since childhood. Art has always been my safe space — the language I use to express emotions and stories that words cannot fully capture.I work with clay and color to create wearable art, transforming ideas and dreams into pieces that feel alive. Every creation is a small universe shaped by symbolism, movement, and emotion, where storytelling and craftsmanship come together. Through my journey, I discovered that color is healing and sculpting is my way of sharing beauty, hope, and meaning. Each piece I make carries fragments of dreams inviting you to wear, carry, and feel art beyond the ordinary."

TANYA HLADKYKH

"I was born and raised in a family of artists and studied design after high school. What began in 2012 as a hobby creating dolls gradually grew into my work, evolving into handmade jewelry using flowers, beads, pearls, and stones.
Before the war, I lived and worked in Melitopol, Ukraine, where I had my own workshop. In 2022, my family and I were forced to leave our home, and today I continue to live and create in Ukraine, carrying my passion for handmade craft forward with resilience and purpose."

GUL SIRTI

"I began this journey nine years ago, at a time when my son was just two months old. Knitting has always been close to my heart, and creating by hand allowed me to do what I love while supporting my family.
Over the years, this work has grown into something much bigger than I imagined. One of the greatest joys of my journey is building a team and creating job opportunities for many women. Through craft and collaboration, I believe in empowering women to grow, create, and support one another."

VICTORIA BOBOK

"I explored many creative paths, but knitting is what truly found a place in my heart. Working with yarn allows me to create handmade pieces filled with warmth and character, from small accessories to the knitted toys I love most.
After moving to Egypt four years ago, I began creating simply for the people I love. What started as heartfelt gifts soon grew into something more, inspired by the joy and connection my work brought to others. For me, knitting is a form of meditation, and each piece is made with care, intention, and the hope of sharing happiness."
